Buttons Galore!

Hello folks! Here's the latest batch of goodies from Love Buttons HQ.

These gorgeous, sparkly pink buttons are just right for jazzing up your wardrobe for the Christmas party season! They cost £2.10 for 7 buttons.
Also available in brown £2.10 for 7 buttons.

This set of rubber buttons shows the diversity of colours and styles available from the Dainite brand. The buttons are (backmarked) soft rubber buttons, some still unused and attached to a scrap of sample card. They may be of interest to the button historian and collector. Dainite buttons were made by the Harboro Rubber Co (founded in 1894) and still in existence today in Market Harborough, UK. (Now producing rubber soles for shoes etc). The rubber buttons were made to pass safely through wringers/mangles in the days when laundry was done by hand.
There are nine loose buttons and eleven buttons still attached to a piece of their original sample card for sale at £5 for the set.

Finally, a set of smart metal buttons (gold tone, possibly brass), featuring a bull motif. They are quite weighty and substantial with attached loop shanks, backmarked "Made In England". The buttons came with a piece of card from "The London Badge & Button Company" (LBB), so may well be a product of that company. They cost £9 for 9 buttons.

Enjoy your Christmas shopping everyone, and don't forget to support the huge diversity of small businesses out there. You will get some unique items and generally much better customer service than with the large, impersonal conglomerates ;o)
