Several weeks i sold this Alex Parsons tin of Boracic ointment to a buyer in Australia whose surname was also Parsons!
The buyer although no relation to Alex Parsons collects vintage Parsons Tins and Boxes.
This lovely buyer has kindly sent me images of some of their collection.
Most of us purchase from Online Auction sites everyday but do we actually follow the rules re leaving neutral and negative feedback. Are some of us too quick to leave negative feedback? Is it really the sellers fault that your package got lost in transit, or the fair p&p costs were too high?
Why penalise the seller for something that is out of their control? Surely if the seller gives the buyer a full refund they should be rewarded with a positive. What more can the seller do?
This is ebays policy on leaving such feedback but how many buyers actually read this before leaving feedback?
Should I leave neutral or negative Feedback for a seller?
Feedback comments become a permanent part of a seller’s record. If you are a buyer, contact your seller to try to resolve any issues before leaving neutral or negative Feedback. Please make sure that your comments are fair, based in fact, and relate to the specific transaction for which you received the Feedback request.
The small print
Only registered members can leave Feedback. Buyers must wait at least seven days before leaving a negative or neutral Feedback for a PowerSeller who has been registered on eBay for at least 12 months.
