Landfarm Gardens West Yorkshire part 1

"The gardens have been created over a period of thirty five years, within an almost treeless landscape
First came the shelter belts.  With the help of friends, Calderdale Council and a band of enthusiasts  something approaching 20,000 trees have been planted over the years into this beautiful upland landscape,  creating a habitat for wildlife which they have been quick to exploit. Last year 52 species of birds were recorded."

Lamp Post Cafe and Boutique Serving Hound and Human

Lamppost cafe (now a gin bar) was a  place to stop and stay after a long walk on the moors or a trek into town where wet dogs and muddy wellies are wholeheartedly welcome.
Treat yourself to homemade hearty soups and splendid coffee and your faithful hound to homemade healthy treats, his own bowl of water and a bed on which to rest.

The Vintage Weekend is now in its 31st year, with the first rally held in 1983. It is interesting to note that brand new cars on display in dealer’s showrooms that year are now eligible to attend the Saturday Rally.

As an added bonus, on Sunday morning, visitors to Hebden Bridge can watch the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society’s famous ‘Trans Pennine Run’ pass through the town. Hebden Bridge is an ideal location to watch this magnificent collection of historic vehicles as they wind their way across the Pennines, en route from Manchester to Harrogate.

Just thought i would show you a selection of Vintage Cars from the annual Hebden Bridge Car Show. A fabulous 2 day event with cars & bikes from various eras up to the early 1990's.  Saturday cars from 1970 - 1991, Sunday 1906 - 1960's.
