The first is a set of thirteen diminutive Mother-of-Pearl shell buttons. These tiny, triangular buttons have two sew through holes and have been dyed green. They cost $4.20 for the set.
This pair of pierced and painted metal embellishments were found in a sewing box, but I'm not entirely sure what they were originally used for! They can be sewn to a garment or other project using the central hole and surrounding pierced areas in a sort of 'star burst' effect. They are made from white metal with colourful painted decoration. They cost $7.00 for the pair.
