We had a great day yesterday visiting some of the open studios in the Spring Fling event. Rob, Brock and I went to Kirkcudbright: "The Artists' Town" where we saw lots of small studios in the WASPS collective. Then went on to Heather M Nisbet's lovely studio, where we made a purchase!

Excellent morning coffee and, later, sandwiches for lunch were at the Solway Tide Cafe, which has a garden to sit in at the back, with a colourful mural to admire, and lovely planting. Handy if, like us, you have a dog in tow.
Spring Fling is on until 30 May - so you still have a day and a half to get out there and enjoy the event!
