Jean Shrimpton was born in 1942 and was an icon of Swinging London and is considered to be one of the worlds first Super Models.
She appeared on numerous covers including Vogue,Harper's Bazaar,Vanity Fair, Glamour, Elle, Ladies Home Journal, Newsweek and time magazines.
- She had relationships with photographer David Bailey and Actor Terrance Stamp
- Starred in privilege in 1967 with Paul Jones (lead singer with Manfred Man)
- Published her Autobiography in 1990
- Karen Gillan played Shrimpton in the BBC 4 drama We'll take Manhattan
