Uses for my buttons

I recently sold these lovely vintage amber coloured paste buttons to a buyer who used them on a fur coat which was worn for a wedding.  The photo is not that good but i love to see my buttons used on garments.
They even match the coat lining what a find for the buyer.

Classic Milk Glass

Milk glass is simple and elegant.  It can easily be incorporated into any home from vintage to contemporary.   When my Christmas decorations come out, I end up packing many of my collectibles away but not my milk glass.  The white of the glass makes a great backdrop to the rich reds and greens of the season.  Then when spring rolls around, it somehow seems fresh and bright again holding pastel flowers and Easter treats.

Parrot & Thimble

No its not the name of a Pub lol.
I recently sold a job lot of old plastic and metal thimbles to a lovely Ebid  buyer and one of the plastic thimbles is now a drinking vessel for their parrot. What a novel idea I would never have thought of that.
