Another button fix for vintage button lovers everywhere! The featured buttons below and many others are available at Love Buttons on Folksy and can be sent worldwide.

First up is a set of three vintage Czechoslovakian glass buttons made from transparent glass with a coloured design at the base, and gold parti-lacquer on the moulded surface. They would make a nice addition to a glass button collection! They cost £3.25 for a set of three buttons.

The next lot are a set of mixed buttons in shades of brown and green. They are a mix of vintage and newer buttons, plastic and metal. They make a simple and attractive closure for a handmade bag or purse. This collection costs £3.50 for sixteen buttons.

This adorable set of vintage wooden buttons have a sort of 'toadstool' shape when seen in profile. The fronts show a pointed dome shape with six carved notches looking like petals. They cost £3.75 for a set of seven buttons.

Love Buttons On Etsy

Three vintage beauties available from Love Buttons on Etsy!

The first is a set of thirteen diminutive Mother-of-Pearl shell buttons. These tiny, triangular buttons have two sew through holes and have been dyed green. They cost $4.20 for the set.

This pair of pierced and painted metal embellishments were found in a sewing box, but I'm not entirely sure what they were originally used for! They can be sewn to a garment or other project using the central hole and surrounding pierced areas in a sort of 'star burst' effect. They are made from white metal with colourful painted decoration. They cost $7.00 for the pair.

Finally, six vintage ball-shaped rose beads in a coppery coloured metal, with two threading holes. The rose motif appears on both the back and front of the bead. Very nice focal point beads for a necklace, bracelet or earrings. They cost $4.95 for six.

Vintage Buttons - New In!

Hi all! Three types of vintage buttons newly listed at Love Buttons HQ today:-

First up are these unusual white or milk glass vintage buttons, decorated with girl's face. The features are picked out in gold lacquer, with green eyes, red lips and hair. [The above set are now sold - similar available from Etsy at $4.50 for a set of 3.]

Here is a set of chunky vintage plastic buttons - shaped rather like pyramids with the tops cut off! The colour is a greeny-turquoise - lovely! They cost £6 for a set of 6.

I was lucky enough to find a limited supply of these beautiful iridescent abalone shell buttons. They date from the 1980s and are unused, ex-Laura Ashley stock. They are priced at £0.30 each.

Ceramic Buttons - Vintage and Modern!

Some more lovely buttons from Love Buttons!

First there is a set of three vintage ceramic buttons, in the style of Ruskin. They make a beautiful focal point button for a craft project, such as a hand knitted bag. Find them in my MISI shop, priced at £9 for three.

This set of three modern ceramic buttons is made by a studio potter, and features a chunky, textured design, with a divine 'Cambridge blue' glaze. They cost £3 from my MISI shop.

And finally, a mod set of five ceramic flower buttons in pastel shades - so pretty added to special handmade cards! These are available for just £2.25 for the set, again from MISI.
